HUD Proposes New Rule to Ensure Equal Access to Housing Regardless of Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity

The US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has proposed a new rule to ensure their housing programs are open to all Americans regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. HUD is seeking public comment on the new rule, which will be published on Monday, January 24th. The public comment period will close the following day, Tuesday, January 25th.
